The Field Museum’s Youth Council is excited to announce the first curioCITY of the year, Cracking the Code, featuring guest speakers Erica Zahnle, DNA Educator Researcher at The Field Museum and Oren Livne, Engineer at Google. Erica and Oren both built their careers around code, but how they got started in their careers and how they use code on a day-to-day basis couldn’t be more different.
Pizza and social hour begins at 5:30pm, and the conversation with Erica and Oren to explore careers in code in science and technology starts at 6pm. Members of Youth Council will co-facilitate the conversation and teens are highly encouraged to ask questions. We look forward to seeing you at Cracking the Code and don’t forget to REGISTER here! (it’s required!)
