Today we had a tour through the museum from Mr. Burger. He told us a story about how while in the field an insect laid eggs below the skin on his skull. Primarily, the doctors believed that Mr. Burger had a possibly cancerous tumor on his head. After some time, Mr. Burger was able to identify the lump on his head as larvae. Mr. Burger, being a curious scientist, decided to allow the bugs to hatch as opposed to having them surgically removed! If that is not dedication to science, I do not know what is! In the afternoon my team worked in order to modify simple games like Uno and Tic Tac Toe. By modifying these games, we began to learn how the structure of games evolve. We will use these skills later in the internship when we build our own game that will incorporate the plant hall!
