Amelia C HS Internship Day 3

Today was one of the days where I was reminded that some of my absolute favorite people are old scientists. Me and my fellow interns got to go on a tour with Bill Berger, a botanist that has worked at The Field since 1965. He walked through the winding passages of the building with a confidence that I haven’t seen in anyone else in the building, and was able to share with us a small fraction of the information he knew about the collections and the plant hall. He was full of clever quips at anthropologists and fun facts about plants and the museum.
