Many people have preconceptions about vikings. These can include ideas such as, vikings are cruel with no mercy, they aren’t particularly clean, they pretty much live on boats, and many others. Today we visited an exhibited that disproved some of the notions. A fact that I found interesting was that vikings weren’t even that dirty. Archaeologists had found things such as combs and tweezers that suggest that vikings keep up with their personal hygiene. There were many other things in the exhibit that proved vikings were much different than what most people think but the fact about personal hygiene stood out the most to me.
